In the last day of Paris Fashion Week, Karl Lagerfeld and his cabin crew gathered all the attention of the universe to Grand Palais with an amazing show which was like a remembrance of 60s hit show Star Trek. After his 34 years of worldwide fame, the current goal of the legendary Creative Director is now an interstellar fame with his elegant crew. While we were still trying to overcome the effects of 2010's Iceberg theme specially sculpted by 35 sculptors from Sweden and the Chanel Airways theme where not even mentioning the highly detailed supermarket theme, not even a meteor shower can stop the Parisian spaceman! However, it would a missing in Chanel archive for Lagerfeld to not to organise a space trip with sequined jackets, glossy head bands and metallic boots.

In the Fall-Winter 2017/18 Ready- to- Wear Collection, Lagerfeld stamped the brand's signature to every detail while inspiring from 60s when the darkness of the universe started to fade away. When No:5 rocket in the center of the show is added to the tweed jackets and well- tailored suits, the owner of the show can even be identified from the moon. Front row can also be a major hint since this nostalgic but still futuristic show is a rare one when Pharrel Williams, Anna Wintour, Mario Testino and Cara Delevigne can be captured together.

Trend Alert...

Space Age's newest make-up and hair trends combined with the flashy and powerful garments have a major impact on creating the Chanel's very own gravitational field as legendary make-up artist Tom Pecheux and lord of the hairs Sam McKnight are the copilots of Lagerfeld in conquering the universe. White and metallic eyeshadows popping under the intentionally over-lined eyelids that reminds eyes dipped in stardust and fuzzy retro hairs challenging the gravity seem like the golden rule of elegance on the moon.
